Zomato Gold Membership Program to be launched in India in June

Zomato is one of the best food-discovery sites available till date. The discovery engine has now come up with a new subscription service called the “Zomato Gold.” Zomato is a food-discovery engine which can help you hunt down the best cuisines in the restaurants or any food and beverages outlet as per the location you select. In addition to this, the Zomato Gold Membership Program was launched in UAE, especially, for the cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi. In UAE, gold membership helps the users get an offer on the drinks at different restaurants whereas in Lisbon the Zomato Gold offers deals not on drinks but on food instead.

Speaking of offers on drinks, in UAE on showing the Zomato Gold Membership, the subscriber can get two rounds of 1+1 drinks on any alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages at the bars, lounges, and restaurants. Additional to this, the membership can be used at any time of the day be it in the night or day and at almost any of its 200 premium Gold partners located in the two cities. The company has made it a point to have a Gold partner at 3km of any location in the cities. When it comes to discussing the prices, at the start it will cost approximately AED 99 (Rs 176) for about three months and which further will be changed to AED 149 (Rs 2651) along with other plans such as 6–12 months plans. Zomato also expects the subscriber to check whether a non-Muslim and of a legal drinking age. These plans are not city specific and can be used in both the cities.

After its launch in UAE, the Zomato Gold Membership Program will now be launched Indian cities such as Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai in June 2017. Later the company plans to launch in other cities such as Istanbul, Melbourne, and Johannesburg but the dates for the launch haven’t yet been decided. Zomato provides services even during weekends or special occasions.
