Xiaomi, the smartphone that has been popular for the launch of its Redmi Note 4 recently, has come to a decision. The company has decided to launch the successor of its one of the most successful smartphones. Yes, you guessed it right. The company has decided to launch Mi Max’s successor later this year. When asked, Xiaomi said that it will launch the new smartphone later this May. It also revealed some of the specs. Have a look!!!
The upcoming Mi Max’s successor will provide a 6.44-inch screen with IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display. The screen also has a pixel ratio of 1440 x 2560. The screen also has a protection of Gorilla Glass. Version of the Gorilla Glass has not been disclosed by the company yet. The handset will be fueled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 6 GB of RAM. The phone also has 128 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 256GB via MicroSD card.
In the field of camera, the rear camera is of 18 MP along with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, OIS, and phase detection autofocus. The upcoming Mi Max’s successor will have 8 MP of front camera as well. The phone also supports a 5,000mAh battery that is capable of giving 35 hours of talk time and 112 hours of standby time. The phone will run on Android 7.0 Nougat. In terms of connectivity, the phone will offer dual-SIM connectivity, Bluetooth, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, 3G, FM and GPS.
No price factor has been revealed by Xiaomi. The phone is likely to come in 3 color variants—gold, silver, and gray.
