Accenture and Cognizant are diving their cognitive solutions to worldwide telecom giant Vodafone, since the firm seek to utilize more digital techs in its commerce. Nicholas Read, the global CFO, was in Hyderabad just more than a week back, where both IT firms showed their solutions to him, 2 people that were aware of the meeting claimed to the media in an interview.
“He saw at cognitive solutions, since they might be applied to customer services and operations. Vodafone has a determined aim to click digital techs. The CEO has discussed about making a digital backbone for the commerce they give, but they also need to utilize more new techs themselves,” a manager well aware of the meetings claimed to the media last week.
A 2nd source claimed to the media that being capable of showcasing a solution was significant since the techs in digital are not obtained in a characteristic “request for proposal” way. “Initially they view what you can do and then it goes on with proof of concepts and many more. Any contract with Vodafone will be extremely competitive and in the long-standing a huge deal for any company,” a 2nd IT manager claimed. Experts peg overall IT investment of Vodafone at almost 2 Billion Pounds per year.
Vodafone did not reply to a request looking for answers. Cognizant refused to comment on this topic as well. “Chats with various firms are a significant part of daily business of Accenture, but it is not suitable to talk new opportunities of business we might or might not be chasing,” a spokesperson of Accenture claimed to the media in a mail. It is turning out to be more and more common for consumers to visit to a location of IT company in India to view a potential tech even prior to considering how to snuff out an RFP.
