Airtel on Thursday had entered into an agreement with Samsung to declare cashback on some select Samsung 4G smartphones in India. The offer involves a maximum cashback of Rs. 1,500 on the Samsung smartphones like Galaxy J2 (2017), Galaxy J5 Prime, Galaxy J7 Prime, and Galaxy J7 Pro and the offer will be accessible in India starting from Sunday, January 7, 2018. These phones can be purchased from any Samsung retailer and recharges can be done from any Airtel retailer. Similarly, Vodafone also launched a similar offer for other Samsung 4G smartphones on Thursday.
Airtel also announced a new cashback offer under Airtel’s Mera Pehla Smartphone initiative. This proposal allows users to a maximum of Rs. 1,500 cashbacks on purchase of any of the above-mentioned smartphones. This cashback will be provided to the clients over a period of 24 months. Consumers who have completed recharges of over Rs. 2,500 in the first twelve months will be issued the first instilment of Rs. 300. The second installment of Rs. 1,200 will be given after the user completes a minimum recharge of Rs. 2,500 over the next twelve months and these cashbacks will be credited to the subscriber’s Airtel Payments Bank account.
With these Airtel cashbacks, the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) will now be available at Rs. 5,490, down from Rs. 6,990. The Galaxy J5 Prime will be available for Rs. 10,490, down from Rs. 11,990. Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime will have a price of Rs. 12,400, down from Rs. 13,900 and the Galaxy J7 Pro will be priced at Rs. 18,400 from Rs. 19,900.
