Redmi 5A Goes The Offline Way

Chinese Smart Phone maker Xiaomi’s popular phone Xiaomi Redmi 5A will soon be available offline via select local stores across the nation. Xiaomi previously launched two variants of the smartphone, ( 2GB and 3GB RAM variants) that are available on online shopping sites like Flipkart, Amazon and also available in Mi Home stores.

The company is now focusing on sale through the offline mode in India. From these two variants, the one with 3GB RAM/ 32GB inbuilt storage will be available in the offline mode. The 2GB RAM variant is expected to be available at Mi partner stores also. Currently, it is available online and also at Mi Home stores at a nominal price of Rs. 4,999 (including the introductory discount of Rs. 1,000), whereas the 3GB RAM version is easily available online and at Mi Home stores for a price of Rs. 6,999.

As per the company spokesperson, the 3GB RAM variant of Redmi 5A will be available for sale across all major Mi stores at a price up to Rs. 7,499. This retail price would be subject to change as per the discretion of the retailer and is up to Rs. 500 more than the launch price of Rs. 6,999.

Xiaomi has captured large share in Indian Smart Phone market and it been doing excellent in Indian market. This smartphone boasts of a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. Powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, coupled with 2GB/ 3GB of RAM, this is surely the best of its kind. It features a hybrid dual SIM (Nano+Nano) slot and functions on the MIUI 9-based on Android Nougat. Fueled with a 3000mAh battery, this smartphone has a heavy inbuilt storage capacity of 16GB/ 32GB expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). It is equally good with respect to the camera and is equipped with a 13MP rear and 5-megapixel selfie camera.
