He also pointed out that latest schemes of Jio might turn out to be mainstream.

CMD of Technopak Advisors, Arvind Singhal, also claimed that current players should look further than just being a mobile phone firm as data tariffs are very low and voice call is now almost free. So, the way to make more income is via value added facilities like entertainment, financial services and shopping on a sole platform.

Jio rolled out 3 types of cashback plans on each recharge of Rs 399 and more from November 10 and November 25, 2017 and also declared association with some of the top e-commerce companies to give vouchers valued Rs 1,899 on each recharge.
