Both the handsets, the Galaxy S9+ and the Galaxy S9 will hit the market at 2018 MWC. While this is identified from quite some time on the basis of different leaks, what consumers might not know is that there might be a third gadget as well debuting in the event scheduled on February 25, 2018 at MWC 2018 keynote of Samsung. This is not a handset but an accessory for the upcoming flagship smartphones, dubbed as the DeX Pad.
If you have been tracking major roll outs of Samsung, you might be well alert about the DeX Station, which made an entrance along with the Samsung Galaxy S8+ and the Samsung Galaxy S8. The Dex Pad appears to be an update over that.
Even though the word “DeX Pad” is not fresh, it has now been leaked in pictures. Handset tipster, @evleaks has reported a few images displaying the accessory for the upcoming flagship smartphones and its ports. The gadget is claimed to link with other accessories of the PC such as mouse and keyboard, making the smartphone a type of mini-PC. It has a devoted charging port on the above side, while the HDMI and USB ports rest on the below side.
It has been claimed that the device will also make the equipped Galaxy S9 act as a virtual keyboard or touchpad. It has been posted that the device will be well-matched with older smartphones too (perhaps Note 8 and Galaxy S8 family.)
From the earlier leaks it is represented that the Galaxy S9+ and the Galaxy S9 will seem analogous to that of the Galaxy S8 smartphones. The internals are expected to be more influential. Fascinatingly, a latest report unveiled that the size of the battery might remain the same. As per the listing of repair elements of the Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy S9, the duo is claimed to feature 3500mAh and 3000mAh of battery.
