After Asus, Samsung, Nokia, and Huawei, it is LG who has verified its attendance at the forthcoming MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2018 event, which will began in Barcelona, Spain on February 25, 2018. The tech major from South Korea has verified this on its official site and in typical LG style, has also provided data on what it will be rolling out.
The firm will have its aim on AI (Artificial Intelligence) techs this time. These techs will be arriving as a fraction of the 2018 variant of the LG V30 handset. The AI in the new handset will aim on improving the UI experience, camera experience, and voice recognition.
The 2018 model of LG V30 will be sporting “Vision AI” in its camera. The AI is claimed to mechanically investigate objects and recommend consumers the most excellent mode in which they can record. The LG V30 presently has 8 modes namely food, portrait, landscape, pet, flower, city, sunset, and sunrise.
“The angle of color, view, backlighting, reflections, and saturation levels are all taken into thought as the phone examines pictures in its catalog to determine what the camera is aiming on so as to suggest the most excellent setting,” claims the firm. LG claims it analyzed more than 100 Million pictures to design the image recognition algorithm of the smartphone.
Apart from this, the camera will also involuntarily scan the QR code when positioned in front of it. It will also display shopping alternatives allowing consumers where to buy certain goods for lower price label.
The “Voice AI” will make voice instructions even more enhanced than ever. LG has operated with Google to convey 32 restricted Voice AI instructions. They can easily state “Ok Google” followed by instructions such as “open camera in Cine video,” “take a picture on a wide angle,” and more.
