Cannon Launches New DSLR for Those Bitten By Selfie Bug

Canon has revealed its EOS 200D, the new entry-level DSLR of the company target for trainee photographers who utilize their smartphones for capturing pics. It will be accessible from the end of this month in the range of $549 to $699, relying on the category of lens, placing it in the same price range as a high-end smartphone.

Canon claims that this novel model, which substitutes the EOS 100D, can take all kinds of snaps. It is defined as the lightest DSLR of the company, and comprises some of the latest technological advancements of Canon such as its autofocus, which is said to be the best in the world, and its DIGIC 7 processor. Other functions comprise a 24.2 MP sensor, a vari-angle screen good for snapping strange shots, and a burst mode of up to 5 frames each second. It can also shoot in Full HD view.

In an effort to have a magnetizing effect on smartphone fans, the company has included a selfie mode, with background blurring and skin smoothing options.
